From the hills of the province of Treviso comes a fresh, highly drinkable Prosecco DOC Treviso. This semi-sparkling wine is made for everyday drinking. This wine is traditionally rustic but full of the light spirit of an aperitif and perfect throughout a meal taken with friends. Its quality is guaranteed by Bortolomiols long standing sparkling wine making tradition.
This Prosecco shows a pale yellow colour with some fine and persistant bubbles. This is a fresh, delicate and fruity sparkling wine on the nose which is flavoursome, well-balanced and pleasantly acidulous on the palate. It should be drunk cold and young.

The wine estate dates back to the mid 18th Century when Bartolomeo Bortolomiol started to grow grapes on the hillsides of Valdobbiadene. He passed on his passion to his son Giuliano who enrolled at the prestigious Conegliano Wine School. After the Second World War, the sight of the abandoned vines led to Giulano’s desire to bring them back to life and make Prosecco become a prestigious sparkling wine.

Today, Giuliano’s wife and his four daughters are at the helm of the estate. Together they have invested a great deal of energy and resources into ensuring quality and maintaining the company’s strong links to the land and its history.

From their sense of responsibility as a leading producer of Prosecco Superiore and also fruit of a project for the creation of sustainable agriculture, Bortolomiol is experimenting with a new approach to growing – organic agriculture – in their own vineyards in the heart of Valdobbiadene. This is because they understand that the land must be protected so as to be passed on to future generations in the best possible health.
