Rotari comes from the Dolomites in north-eastern Italy, and more precisely from the vineyards of Mezzacorona.
The name "Rotari" comes from the Lombard King Rotari who reigned from 636 to 652, and led numerous military campaigns, which brought almost all of northern Italy under the rule of the Lombard kingdom.
The Rotari Brut Cuvée 28 Talento is made with the traditional method. A second fermentation takes place in the bottle. Then the wine is aged for twenty-eight months’ on lees.
