Powers "John's Lane" Single Pot Still Whiskey

An attempt to recreate the earthier old Powers Pot Still style. Named after the address of the original Powers Distillery where a two of the giant old pot stills rest. Entirely composed of pure pot still whiskeys from the Midleton distillery that have been aged for between 12 and 14 years. Aged in a mixture of 2nd fill and refill casks. Pale gold/bronze colour. Distinct cocoa and mocha overtones on the nose with hints of dried apricots, orange peel and marshmallow. At full strangth it is surprising soft and smooth.
