A beautiful garnet-red colour. Oscillating nose jumping between red spices and fruits, then a mouthful of elegance and roundness, lavish without reserve, all this richness and flavour makes this a fantastic wine.

Chateau du Grand Chambellan is an old property situated in Lalande de Pomerol. In 1986, it was bought by its present owner, Jean Roger, who set about totally renovating the winemaking facilities. The vineyard consists of mainly Merlot with some Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, averaging 30 years of age. The grapes are harvested manually, fermentation is carried out by temperature-controlled vats and the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrel, one third of which are renewed annually.
