This is a co-operative with a difference, with an ethos of quality that ensures good fruit and excellent wines. This ethos encompasses every aspect of their operation from vineyard to winery, where Riccardo Pucci produces an intense Chianti, with lovely, colour and a value that epitomises the robust style of wine produced in the hills outside Empoli. Founded in 1961, its first vintage was 1965. At the outset the co-operative sold wine in bulk, and it was only in 1971 that they began selling bottled wines. It has approximately 150 members, whose vineyards are located on the hilly areas around Vinci and Cerreto Guidi.
