Naughton's Flight Shiraz

Francis Naughton left Kilkenny for South Africa in the mid-1970s and launched his own wine brand: Naughtons Flight is inspired by the Flight of the Wild Geese from Ireland in 1691. The Shiraz is fermented in open oak casks, followed by 14 months maturation in 225-litre barriques. The soft, ripe fruit marries with the oak to give a wine of considerable body and complexity.
