“The 2004 Grande Reserva (Cistus) is more or less a single varietal – it is 95% Touriga Nacional with the remainder being Touriga Franca. It was raised in French oak for fifteen months. It is the most distinguished wine of those reviewed from this winery here. Focused, with firm supporting tannins, this shows nice, sweet fruit and an elegant mid-palate. It is likely to be approachable young, yet hold nicely for several years. It does come around fast.” – Mark Squires, Wine Advocate
