Feudo Arancio "Hekate" Passito

Hekate was the Greek Goddess who bestowed kindness and wealth. She also acted as a midwife guardian of youth. From Sicily, the land of ancient history, divinity and hidden treasures, Feudo Arancio introduces its new Passito wine. The grapes are dried naturally until they become raisin-like making them highly concentrated with natural grape sugars. Hekate is a Passito wine naturally sweetened with the Sicilia IGT appellation.

The bouquet of aromas Hekate offers is a myriad of sensations that start from the first note with dried flowers and chamomile, to white-fleshed peaches, dried apricots, honey, and spicy herbs. This dessert wine, shows its best features with traditional Sicilian sweets like cannolis, ice cream, cake with candied fruits, amaretti and pistachio flavoured desserts. Perfect also with baked desserts like fruit tarts, walnut cake and hazelnut cookies. For a more creative pairing, try hard semi-sharp cheeses or tropical fruit.
